Migration to Microsoft 365: switching over without your work grinding to a halt
We migrate your mail, files and Teams to Microsoft 365, from another Microsoft 365 tenant, an on-premises Exchange server or Google Workspace, carefully planned and with as little disruption as possible.
The problem
There are plenty of reasons to move to Microsoft 365, or to a different Microsoft 365 environment:
- From another Microsoft 365 tenant, for example after a merger or acquisition, when part of the business continues independently, or when your environment is currently with another provider.
- From an on-premises Exchange server, because maintaining, securing and replacing your own mail server costs more and more time and money.
- From Google Workspace, because you want to work with Outlook, Teams, SharePoint and the security of Microsoft 365 Business Premium.
Moving mail, files, Teams and settings without anything going missing or your team standing still for days calls for a careful approach. We do it as a project, with a clear runbook: first mapping everything out, then preparing and testing, and only then switching over. That way you move without surprises, and the new environment is set up properly and securely straight away.
What will you notice?
You notice a well-prepared migration mainly by what does not happen: no lost mail, no missing files and no days of downtime. Your employees sign in to the new environment and carry on working.

How it works
How we arrange it
Not a technical story, but what happens and who does what.
Plan an introduction- Step 1
Inventory
We map out what needs to move: users, mailboxes, shared mailboxes, files, Teams and domain names, and where everything is now.
- Step 2
Plan and schedule
We draw up a runbook with a clear schedule, and agree how and when we will inform your employees.
- Step 3
Preparation and test migration
We set up the new environment and transfer the data in advance. With a test run, we check that everything arrives correctly.
- Step 4
Switching over
At the agreed moment we switch over. The last changes come along, and your domain name and mail move to the new environment.
- Step 5
Aftercare
We help employees sign in and connect Outlook, Teams and OneDrive, and resolve any questions right away.
Frequently asked questions
Questions about Migration to Microsoft 365
Is your question not listed? Feel free to call us, we are happy to think along with you.
Which environments can you migrate from?
From another Microsoft 365 tenant (for example after a merger, acquisition or spin-off), from an on-premises Exchange server and from Google Workspace.
What is a tenant?
A tenant is your own Microsoft 365 environment: the place where your users, mail, files and settings are stored. In a tenant migration, you move that data to another tenant.
Does Teams come along too?
Yes. In a migration between Microsoft 365 environments, we move Teams as well as mail, calendars, contacts, OneDrive and SharePoint.
Why a project?
A migration is one-off work with a clear start and end. That is why we do it as a project, with a runbook and clear agreements in advance. After that, your environment falls under regular management.
Can I just keep working during the migration?
Mostly, yes. The data is transferred in advance while your team keeps working. Only around the switchover is there a short transition, and we schedule that for a quiet moment.
