Copilot readiness: your organisation ready to work safely with AI
We prepare your organisation for Microsoft 365 Copilot: permissions in order, information tidied up and labelled, clear agreements and a pilot, so you benefit quickly and safely.
The problem
Microsoft 365 Copilot summarises meetings, writes a first draft of your quote and finds information in a few seconds that you would otherwise spend a long time looking for. So it is no surprise that many organisations want to get started quickly. But Copilot is only as good, and as safe, as the environment it works in.
Copilot can reach all the information an employee has access to. If folders and sites are more open than intended, Copilot suddenly makes that visible. And messy, outdated information leads to messy answers. That is why we prepare your organisation as a project: permissions in order, information tidied up and labelled, clear agreements and a pilot. That way you get the most out of Copilot, quickly and safely.
What will you notice?
You start with Copilot in an environment that is ready for it. Employees get better answers, sensitive information stays where it belongs, and you know what Copilot delivers for your organisation.
What it does for you
How Copilot Readiness helps you
- 01
Safe from day one
Copilot can reach all the information an employee has access to. By putting permissions in order first, you prevent confidential information from suddenly being found with a single question.
- 02
Better answers
Copilot is only as good as the information it works with. Tidy, well-organised and labelled files produce better and more reliable results.
- 03
Quick benefits
With clear goals, a pilot group and training, your team quickly sees where Copilot saves time, and use grows naturally.
How it works
How we arrange it
Not a technical story, but what happens and who does what.
Plan an introduction- Step 1
Setting goals
Together we look at where most of the time goes in your organisation and where Copilot delivers the most. This gives the preparation a clear direction.
- Step 2
Licences and environment
We check whether your base licences are suitable, such as Microsoft 365 Business Premium, and whether your information is stored in OneDrive, SharePoint and Teams, where Copilot can reach it.
- Step 3
Permissions in order
We review access to sites, Teams and shared files and restrict it where needed. This is the most important step to prevent oversharing.
- Step 4
Tidying up and labelling information
Outdated information is removed, sensitive documents get a label and important libraries get fixed metadata columns, so Copilot searches better.
- Step 5
Agreements on AI
We help you with a short, clear AI policy: what is and is not allowed, and how to handle the output of Copilot.
- Step 6
Pilot and rollout
We start with a pilot group, take the experiences on board and then roll out step by step, optionally with the Let's Copilot training.
Frequently asked questions
Questions about Copilot Readiness
Is your question not listed? Feel free to call us, we are happy to think along with you.
Can't I just buy licences and get started?
You can, but then you run the risk that Copilot finds information that is not meant for everyone, and that the answers disappoint because the information is messy. Good preparation prevents this and means you benefit sooner.
Why a project?
The preparation is one-off work with a clear start and end: reviewing permissions, tidying up information, making agreements and running a pilot. That is why we do it as a project, with clear agreements in advance.
How do we make sure employees actually start using Copilot?
With a pilot group that shares its experiences, and with the Let's Copilot training: a few minutes of learning in Teams every day. That way Copilot becomes a habit.
Do you also supply the Copilot licences?
Yes. We supply Microsoft 365 and Copilot licences. Copilot is an add-on licence on top of a suitable subscription, such as Business Premium.
