With Modern Workplace Essentials we get the technical basics of your IT environment in order and keep them that way. NSO manages your workstations, servers and Microsoft 365. We take care of monitoring, maintenance and basic security, so you have a stable, manageable and secure IT environment. We charge for user support based on the time spent.

Professionally managed
NSO manages your workstations, servers and Microsoft 365. We take care of monitoring and maintenance, so your IT stays stable and manageable.

Basic security on every workstation
Protection against viruses, ransomware and vulnerable software, with security settings at least at Core level. Aimed at at least risk class 1 of the Digital Security Risk Classification (RKIDV).

Extend it if you want
If you want to strengthen your security further, you add the Cybersecurity package: AI-driven email security, monitoring of cloud applications, security awareness with phishing simulations and dark web monitoring. Without having to move to Standard straight away.

Getting acquainted and mapping it out
We look at your current workstations, accounts and licences, and what you need.

Switching over and setting up
We take over the management, carry out the NCSC CyberVeilig Check (by the Dutch NCSC) and set up the security, without work coming to a halt.
- Step 3
Managing and monitoring
We keep an eye on your workstations, servers and Microsoft 365 and carry out updates and maintenance.

Providing insight
You receive a basic report, with insight into where your organisation stands and what can be improved further.

Who is Essentials for?
For organisations that want NSO to manage their IT and want to get the basics professionally in order. If you want to be fully taken care of, with unlimited support and extensive security, take a look at Modern Workplace Standard.
What is in the Cybersecurity package?
AI-driven email security, monitoring of cloud applications, security awareness with phishing simulations and dark web monitoring. With Standard it is included as standard; with Essentials you add it. We then include it in your proposal.
How does support work?
We charge for user support based on the time actually spent. That way you only pay for the help you use.
What does Essentials cost?
That depends on the number of employees and any extras. With the calculator on the Modern Workplace page you can see your indicative monthly amount straight away.
What do I need to get started?
Modern Workplace is available from 5 employees. A Microsoft 365 Business Premium licence per user is required for all packages. We can supply these.
Can I move to Standard later?
Yes. If your organisation grows or you want more protection and unlimited support, we move to Standard together.
