Cyber Security
Security awareness: your staff as the strongest link
Training for your staff and regular phishing simulations, so everyone learns to recognise phishing before things go wrong.
The problem
Most cyber attacks do not start with a sophisticated hack, but with a single click: on a link in a fake email, an attachment that looks familiar or a fake sign-in page. Criminals know that people are busy and respond quickly, and they take advantage of that.
Good security stops a lot, but never everything. That is why it is important that your staff know what to look out for. With our security awareness training they learn this step by step: with short training sessions and regular phishing simulations, so that being alert becomes a habit.
What will you notice?
Your staff receive a short training session now and then, and the occasional practice email. For you, it means no extra work, but a team that knows better what to look out for.
What it does for you
How Security awareness training helps you
- 01
Learning to recognise phishing
In short training sessions, your staff learn what to look out for. That makes it less likely that someone falls for a fake email, a fake sign-in page or a request to pay quickly.
- 02
Practising in a safe environment
With regular phishing simulations, your staff practise with realistic fake emails. A click then costs nothing, but it teaches a lot.
- 03
Insight into where the risk lies
You see where your organisation stands and whether awareness is growing. This also helps you show that you are working on cyber awareness, something NIS2 asks for, for example.
How it works
How we arrange it
Not a technical story, but what happens and who does what.
Plan an introduction- Step 1
We set it up
We prepare the training for your organisation and add your staff. You do not need to do anything for this.
- Step 2
Training
Your staff take short training sessions on topics such as phishing, passwords and working safely, at a time that suits them.
- Step 3
Practising
From time to time, your staff receive a practice email that looks like real phishing. This way, being alert becomes a habit.
- Step 4
Reviewing together
We discuss the results with you and decide together where extra attention is needed.
Frequently asked questions
Questions about Security awareness training
Is your question not listed? Feel free to call us, we are happy to think along with you.
Is this included in my package?
Security awareness training is included as standard with Modern Workplace Standard. With Essentials, you add it with the Cybersecurity package, together with anti-phishing, Microsoft 365 monitoring and dark web monitoring.
Why is technology alone not enough?
A good spam filter stops a lot, but never everything. Criminals are getting better and better at writing convincing emails. In the end, it is a member of staff who decides whether to click. That is why the combination of good security and alert staff works best.
Should we tell staff that practice emails are coming?
We recommend announcing that practice will take place, but not when. That way everyone knows what it is about, and the exercise stays realistic. The aim is to learn, not to catch someone out.
Is this only for large organisations?
No. In smaller organisations in particular, a single click often has major consequences, because there are fewer safety nets. Security awareness is a sensible step for every organisation.
