Backup & Continuity
Endpoint backup with disaster recovery: a whole computer back, not just your files
A backup of complete laptops, PCs and servers, not just individual files, so you are quickly back at work after a failure, theft or ransomware.
The problem
A laptop that no longer starts, a stolen PC or a server encrypted by ransomware: it happens more often than you think. If your files are in the cloud, they are safe. But the device itself, with its programs, settings and local data, then has to be set up again, and that takes time.
With endpoint backup with disaster recovery we back up the complete device. That way we quickly restore a laptop, PC or server after a failure, theft or attack, and you are out of action for as short a time as possible.
What will you notice?
In your daily work you will not notice it. You see the difference when something goes wrong: instead of days of setting things up again, you are quickly back at work.

How it works
How we arrange it
Not a technical story, but what happens and who does what.
Plan an introduction- Step 1
We set it up
We set up the backup on the devices we manage and decide together which devices and servers are included.
- Step 2
Automatically in the background
The backup runs automatically, without your employees noticing it or having to do anything for it.
- Step 3
We keep an eye on it
We check that the backups run properly and step in if something goes wrong, before you need the backup.
- Step 4
Restore when needed
If a device is broken, stolen or hit by ransomware, we restore it, or you temporarily carry on working while we restore.
Frequently asked questions
Questions about Endpoint backup with disaster recovery
Is your question not listed? Feel free to call us, we are happy to think along with you.
What is the difference with Microsoft 365 Backup?
Microsoft 365 Backup protects your data in the cloud: email, OneDrive and SharePoint. Endpoint backup protects your devices themselves, such as laptops, PCs and servers, including everything stored on them locally.
What does disaster recovery mean?
Disaster recovery is the ability to get back to work quickly after a major disruption, such as ransomware or a failed server. A good backup of your devices is the foundation for that.
Is this included in Modern Workplace?
Endpoint backup with disaster recovery is an add-on product. You can add it to both Essentials and Standard, for the devices and servers where it is needed.
Do I need this if everything is in the cloud?
If all your data is in Microsoft 365 and you only work with laptops, the need is smaller. If you have servers, local programs or data that is only stored on a device, a backup of those devices is sensible. We are happy to look at it together.
