What is SASE?
SASE stands for Secure Access Service Edge. It brings network and security together in the cloud: instead of all the security sitting on the office network, it travels with the member of staff. This way you are equally well protected everywhere.
Is the device itself checked as well?
Yes. With every connection, the gateway in the cloud checks whether the device is in order: are the Windows updates installed, is the antivirus up to date, and does Windows meet your organisation's rules? If not, the device does not get access to your business applications until it is back in order.
Does this replace our VPN?
In many cases, yes. Instead of a VPN that gives access to the entire network, staff get secure access to exactly the applications they need. Together, we look at what suits your situation best.
Is this included in Modern Workplace?
Secure working from anywhere (SASE) is an add-on product. You can add it to both Essentials and Standard.
